For the Respondent nos. 3 to 5 We have heard the learned Government Pleader on the issue relating to compassionate appointment of the wife of the deceased employee of the school. We have been informed that there is no policy decision regarding compassionate appointment after 2014.
Considering the financial condition of the family and the fact that the mother of the present writ petition does not have the requisite educational qualification for Group-D post while the writ petitioner is qualified. Keeping in mind that the endeavour of the Administration is to ameliorate penury of the family for the reason of untimely death of sole bread earner of the family we dispose of this appeal and also the connected application by permitting the college authorities to seek a recommendation from the College Service Commission with regard to the
consideration of the candidature of the writ petitioner for any Group-D post in the college where petitioner's father was working upon age relaxation when the recruitment of Group-D post will be initiated by the said College along with other candidates.
This order is passed in view of the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case and we also appreciate the stand taken by the learned Government Pleader in assisting the court to pass the aforesaid order.
The order of the learned Single Judge is modified to the extent indicated above.
The appeal and the connected application are accordingly disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
Urgent Xerox certified copy to be made available to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
