1. Status report filed by the State be kept with the records.

2. The petitioner prays for bail saying that he is in custody for more than 1 (one) year. He says that he has been falsely implicated. We see from the material on record that 110.79 kgs. of ganja was recovered from a vehicle of which he was the driver. The prosecution has already examined 4 out of 15 charge-sheet named witnesses. Learned advocate says that 4 more witnesses will be examined. The next schedule is between April 9 and April 11, 2025.

3. We, therefore, see that the trial has proceeded at a satisfactory pace. The trial is likely to conclude on an early date.

4. Since huge quantity of narcotics is involved, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

5. The prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.

6. CRM (NDPS) 317 of 2025 is dismissed.

7. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
