Learned counsel for the State is present and represents all the respondents.

The petitioner's case is that he superannuated on 30.6.2024 after 37 years of service.

It is submitted that though he has been given his provident fund dues and pension but gratuity has not been received by him in spite of making an application in Form No.I which was duly received by the respondent no. 4.

It is further submitted that in spite of making many representations the

respondent no. 4 has not acted upon the said representations.

Considering the nature of relief prayed for and the materials on record which prima facie shows that the petitioner is entitled to gratuity under the act, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the concerned authority, being the respondent no. 4 herein shall consider the petitioner's representations dated 9.9.2024 and 16.12.2024 within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of this order, and in accordance with law.

In case hearing is required the petitioner shall be given a hearing and a reasoned order be passed.

WPA 5675 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Parties are to act on the server copy of the order.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned counsel for the parties on usual undertakings.
