It appears from the report and is also submitted by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioners and the private opposite party that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the private opposite party is not willing to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. The proceeding being G.R.(S)Case No. 697 of 2024 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Calcutta be quashed.

The criminal revision being CRR No. 1125 of 2025 is allowed.

As a consequence the connected application being CRAN No. 1 of 2025 is disposed of.
