The revisional application has been preferred challenging the proceedings being G. R. Case No. 90 of 2019 arising out of Haldia Women P. S. Case No. 03 of 2019 dated 19.01.2019 under Sections 354/500/509 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and S.6 of the Indecent Representation of Women(Prohibition) Act, 1986. The petitioner approached this court at a stage when the investigation of the case has just been concluded. Record reflects that on 20th January, 2021, charge-sheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court and the learned court was pleased to take cognizance of the offence. The petitioner subsequently appeared on 23rd February, 2021 and he was released on bail. Having regard to the fact that documents on which the prosecution intends to rely upon are yet to be supplied by the accused/petitioner, I am of the view that at this stage any appreciation on the merits of the case would prejudice either of the

parties.

Accordingly, liberty is granted to the petitioner to agitate the points canvassed in the revisional application at the appropriate stage of the proceedings.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 632 of 2021 is disposed of. . Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
