The present revisional application has been preferred by the accused/petitioner for expeditious disposal of CR Case No.398 of 2017.

Having regard to the purpose for which the criminal case has been pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Serampore, Hooghly, I direct the learned Magistrate would fix a schedule on each and every 45 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. All efforts be taken by the parties and cooperation be extended to the learned trial court so that the trial is concluded at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 866 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
