The State of West Bengal and another Mr. Swakshar Kumar Mondal Mr. Subhajit Mukherjee Mr. Jayatish Biswas .. for the petitioners The petitioners have assailed the order dated 12th December, 2024 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 1st Court, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas in Special Case No.185 of 2023 directing issuance of warrant of arrest against them. It appears that cognizance of charge-sheet was taken by the learned trial court on 20th May, 2024 showing the petitioners as absconding. Warrant of arrest was issued against them by the order impugned.

The petitioners undertake to surrender before the learned trial court within a fortnight from date. If the petitioners surrender before the learned trial court within a fortnight from date and file an application for bail, the learned trial court shall deal with the same in accordance with law.

In the event the petitioners fail to surrender before the learned trial court within the stipulated time frame, learned trial court shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioners in accordance with law without further reference to this court. Warrant of arrest issued against the petitioners vide order dated 12th December, 2024 be stayed till 3rd April, 2025.

CRR 1127 of 2025 is disposed of accordingly.
