For the State This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent no.2 in disposing of the appeal and stay petition. I have heard learned counsel for the appearing parties and perused the materials on record.

Accordingly, direction is given upon the respondent no.2 to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and dispose of the stay petition and appeal expeditiously preferably within a period of two weeks from date. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
