We have considered the materials on record. There are ample materials connecting him with the trafficking of narcotics i.e. 8 litres of codeine mixture which is above commercial quantity. Date has been fixed for recording prosecution evidence.

Under such circumstances and in view of statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

In the event there is deterioration of health, necessary medical attention shall be forthwith provided to the petitioner.
