Mr. Suman Sengupta, Sr. Govt. Adv, Mr. Sambuddha Datta Mr. Sanatan Panja ...for the State Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner 28.08.2025 Court No. 35 M/L. No.440 Rakib submits that in spite of informing the police authorities repeatedly on 21.12.2024, till date no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that a long standing land dispute is existing between the private respondents and the petitioner. Over the said issue the present petitioner was subjected to harassment. Earlier writ petition was preferred being WPA 20827 of 2021 wherein the Coordinate Bench was pleased to direct the petitioner to approach before the appropriate authority under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act for demarcation of his part. There has been no change of circumstances.

However, the strained relationship continues, accordingly, police authorities would oversee that there is no violation of law and order at the behest of any of the parties.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 5693 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.
