The petitioner's contention is that his prayer for consideration of the representation dated 28th January, 2021, which is Annexure P-5 of the writ application, for issuance of Contract Carriage Permit (Auto Rickshaw) in respect of route Chinsurah Rail Station to Chinsurah Court has not been considered by the Regional Transport Authority, Hooghly, the respondent no.2 up till now.

I direct the Regional Transport Authority, Hooghly, the respondent no.2 to consider the representation dated 28th January, 2021, which is Annexure P-5 of the writ application, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period

of ten weeks from date and communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. With the above observation, this writ application is disposed of.
