Ms. Manisha Nath ..for KMC The petitioners claim themselves to be the tenants in the building located at 63, Gardener Lane, Police Station -Taltala, Kolkata-700014.

A demolition order was passed by the Corporation in respect of the said building on August 5, 2014 and July 5, 2022.

The petitioners before this Court submits that they are prepared to vacate the building within a period of six weeks from date.

In that view of the matter, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition.

After the period of six weeks from date, the Corporation shall be at liberty to demolish the building in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 5594 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
