In this public interest petition the allegation of the petitioner is in respect of defalcation and embezzlement in the implementation of various schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Abas Yoyona, Gitanjali Abas Yoyona, MGNREGS, Amphan and Aila Schemes etc.
Learned counsel for the State has submitted that the petitioner has not disclosed the particulars of the defalcation. He has fairly submitted that if the petitioner files an appropriate representation along with all the details before the respondent no.7 i.e. District Magistrate, South 24-Parganas, then the grievance of the petitioner will be duly looked into.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for disposal of the present petition with liberty to file a comprehensive representation.
Hence, we dispose of the present petition granting
liberty to the petitioner to file a comprehensive representation with all the particulars before the respondent no.7 i.e. District Magistrate, South 24Parganas, who, on receipt of the same, will duly look into the grievance of the petitioner and will also get the enquiry conducted, if required and will take appropriate action in accordance with law.
Let this exercise be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation.
Since no affidavits have been invited, the allegations made in the petition are deemed to be denied.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
