.....petitioners Mr. Sabir Ahmed ...... for the petitioner Mr. S G Mukherjee, ld PP Ms. S Santra ...... for the State Mr. Hillol Saha Poddar ...... for OP no. 2 Parties are represented.
Report is filed by the State of West Bengal to the effect that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the de facto complainant is not willing to proceed with the case any further.
Report is taken on record.
It is submitted on behalf of the respective parties that the dispute has been amicably settled between them and a compromise petition has been filed by the parties jointly to that effect. In view of the fact that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the de facto complainant/opposite party no. 2 does not wish to proceed with the matter any further, there is no reason to continue with the matter any longer as that would be a futile exercise and sheer waste of judicial hours. Accordingly, CRR 651 of 2019 along with CRAN 941 of 2019 are disposed of.
However, there shall be no order as to costs. GR case no 373 of 2015 pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Medinipur at Tamluk arising out of Tamluk P.S case no.
of dated 10.2.2015 under sections 341/323/379/506/34 IPC and section 3(i)(x) of the Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act be quashed.
Copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for information and necessary action.
Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon usual undertaking. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
