The Registrar General has filed a report dated 27th January, 2021 stating that due to shortage of time the refund of money could not be made.

I direct the Registrar General to refund the money to the petitioner by 3rd February, 2021.

The Registrar General is requested to act on the basis of this order immediately.

This matter is related to payment of gratuity. The gratuity amount has already been deposited with the Registrar General.

Today, an order has been passed by this court for releasing the said amount so that the petitioner can get the amount by 3rd February, 2021. In this matter, the question of compound interest was kept open by order

dated 14th January, 2021.

Now I direct the Certificate Officer, Serampore, Hooghly, the respondent no.3 to calculate the compound interest and to take all steps so that the said amount can be recovered from the respondent no.4 within the period of one month from date.

With the above observation, the matter is disposed of.
