Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has already cleared all outstanding dues.

Learned counsel appearing for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), on instruction, submits that although the petitioner has substantially cleared all outstanding dues, a nominal amount of Rs.12,693/- is still due.

Hence, WPA No. 5747 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the petitioner to deposit the outstanding amount of Rs.12,693/- to the WBSEDCL. The WBSEDCL shall restore the electricity connection of the petitioner within a

week after such payment being made by the petitioner.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
