The petitioner participated in an e-auction. The petitioner deposited earnest money with regard thereto. The e-auction was cancelled. The petitioner now seeks refund of the earnest money deposited.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the e-auction was cancelled in view of the various pronouncements of judicial authorities including the Green Tribunal. The authorities are ready and willing to refund the earnest money to the petitioner forthwith.

In such circumstances, it would be appropriate to direct the authorities to refund the earnest money of the petitioner within a fortnight from date.

WPA 6504 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
