Petitioner approached this Court for directing further investigation in connection with the final report submitted relating to Ghola P.S. Case No.414 of 2019.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms.

Indrani Nandi, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

On an assessment of the grievance of the petitioner, I am of the opinion that since statutory remedy is available by way of Section 173(8) of the Cr.P.C., petitioner should have approached the learned ACJM, Barrackpore in respect of the grievance. In case no notice was served upon the petitioner at the time or after submission of chargesheet, petitioner would bring the same to the notice of

the learned ACJM, Barrackpore who would take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 6115 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
