This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved in relation to inaction of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Medinipur, (in short 'D.I. of Schools'), being respondent no.3 herein.

It is the case of the writ petitioner that she was appointed by letter dated November 27, 2015 and she joined the said school on December 3, 2015. Thereafter, on February 24, 2016 the school authorities submitted his papers to the D.I. of Schools for approval of the said appointment.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that till date no approval has been forthcoming from the D.I. of Schools and the same may be immediately looked into by the D.I. of Schools.

I have heard counsel appearing on behalf of the parties and perused the materials placed on record. In view of the above, I direct the D.I. of Schools to forthwith look into the approval of the writ petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from date. It is made clear that if all the conditions are fulfilled by the writ petitioner, the D.I. of Schools shall grant approval in accordance with law.

I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the case.

With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
