1. The petitioner has applied for general transfer on medical grounds within the district of Purba Bardhaman.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a surplus teacher in the school and distance is also a ground for seeking such transfer on medical ground.

3. In those circumstances, the D.P.S.C. shall consider the petitioner's request and also take into consideration the report of the CMOH, Purba Bardhaman.

4. Let a decision be taken by the Board after considering the opinion of the CMOH, Purba Bardhaman within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The petitioner shall be at liberty to apply afresh in writing for such transfer.

6. Let the entire process be conducted offline by all the authorities concerned.

7. The writ petition is disposed of.

8. There will be no order as to costs.

9. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
