Petitioner is in custody for four and half years. She renews her bail prayer.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record.

Petitioner was involved in the murder of her own mother in collusion with co-accused. Trial is in progress. Delay in the matter is due to adjournment sought on behalf of the defence. Offences, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Application for bail is, thus, rejected.
