The learned Advocate representing the appellant/Insurance Company submitted to have filed an application being CAN/3/2025 which, inter alia, stated that the name of the appellant/Insurance Company being 'Liberty Videocon General Insurance Company Limited' has been replaced by the name 'Liberty General Insurance Limited' and sought for amendment of the cause title of the Memo of Appeal. In the instant appeal, the Judgment has already been pronounced on 5th February, 2025.

The Department is directed to amend the cause title of the Memo of Appeal considering the name as mentioned in annexure - 'A' attached to the CAN

application being 3/2025 wherein the name of the appellant/Insurance Company had been changed from 'Liberty Videocon General Insurance Company Limited' to 'Liberty General Insurance Limited' as had been certified by the office of the Registrar of Companies. Accordingly, the Department is to disburse the balance amount in favour of the appellant/Insurance Company as amended.

The application being CAN/3/2025 is disposed of. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
