The grievance of the petitioner is primarily directed in respect of the higher compensation, which according to the petitioner, he is entitled to in respect of the acquisition of the subject premises. It is submitted by Ms. Roy that the petitioner has statutory, alternative efficacious remedy and since final award has been passed, the petitioner should approach the competent Court under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

In view of the non-appearance of the petitioner, W.P.A. 4703 of 2019 is dismissed for default. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
