This appeal is directed against an order dated 16th August, 2016 passed by Additional District Judge cum Motor Accident Claims Tribunal.

Mr. Banerjee appears and submits that the principal amount of Rs.30,000/- along with interest is lying with the Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta.

The insurance company is represented. It is clearly submitted on behalf of them that the parties have amicably resolved their disputes.

The claimant is ready and willing to take the entire amount lying with the Registrar General.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the Registrar General is directed to issue a cheque in favour of the claimant No.1/respondent and

hand over the same in physical presence of the claimant No.1 and after being duly satisfied with necessary and valid photo identity of the respondent No.1.

The Registrar General is directed to conduct the entire exercise within a fortnight from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, FMAT 230 of 2017 along with CAN 1 of 2017 and CAN 2 of 2017 are disposed of.

The cross-objection filed being COT 5 of 2018 is also disposed of. Let a copy of the cross-objection be kept with the records.
