Ms. Sukanya Datta ... for the State-respondent(s) Mr. Parashar Baidya ... for the respondents The petitioner has approached this Court as there has been interference by the private respondents so far as his cultivation is concerned. The petitioner, to that effect, was assaulted and threatened for being implicated in false cases.

State has submitted a report which reflects that there has been a long standing land dispute over which three criminal cases being Jangipara P.S. Case No. 31 of 2001; Jangipara P.S. Case No.

97 of 2022 and Jangipara P.S. Case no.

69 of 2022, have already been registered.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondents submits that they have the right over the land.

So far as the right, title, interest, usages of the land is concerned, this Court is not going to interfere with the same as the same is the exclusive domain of the learned Civil Court.

However, having regard to the history of the relationship that there are three criminal cases pending including a case under Section 302 of the Cr.P.C., I direct that the police authorities would keep strict surveillance and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place as also no untoward further incidents results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 5745 of 2025 is disposed of.

also disposed of.
