I find from the judgement passed by learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court-V, Alipore in Criminal Revision No. 181 of 2018 that the revisional court directed to pay maintenance to the opposite party no.2 herein to the tune of Rs.5000/- per month. By the said order, the learned appellate court directed the mode and manner by which the arrears were to be cleared. Records of this revisional application reflect that the petitioner was working at Jadavpur University. Having regard to the quantum so awarded, I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order.

The petitioner would be at liberty to canvass any change of circumstances by invoking appropriate statutory provisions which are available under the law. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 887 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
