1. Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

2. Petitioner is the husband and is aged about 38 years. Apparently, petitioner entered into marriage with a 14 year old minor.

3. Minor recorded statement under Section 183 of the BNSS implicating the petitioner herein. She claims that she was forced into marriage. Other family members of the petitioner are still absconding.

4. Investigations are ongoing. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will send a wrong signal to the society.

5. In such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Smita Das De, J.)
