Mr. Bhowmik, learned Advocate representing the respondent nos. 1 and 2, submits that based on a complaint received against the petitioner, a doctor, a proceeding was initiated by the Medical Council. After following the due procedure the petitioner's registration was cancelled for a period of three years. He also submits that three years have already been elapsed and thereafter petitioner applied for reregistration of her name as a practicing doctor under the Council. The petitioner's application has been accepted and her name has been re-registered. In view thereof, he submits that the present writ petition has become infructuous.

Having heard the learned Advocate for the respondent nos. 1 and 2, I express my agreement with the contention advanced by Mr. Bhowmik.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

There will be no order as to costs.
