The petitioner seeks electric supply.

The writ petition is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated April 7, 2021.

A person in settled position is entitled to electric supply. The Distribution Company is willing to give electric supply to the petitioner.

It is submitted on behalf of the Distribution Company that, the inspection is complete. It is feasible to provide electric supply to the petitioner. In such circumstances, the Distribution Company will proceed to provide electric supply to the petitioner forthwith subject to payment of all costs, charges and expenses for the same and compliance of all formalities. In the process of granting electric

supply to the petitioner, in the event, the Distribution Company faces any obstruction from any quarter, the Distribution Company is at liberty to approach the police authorities for police assistance. The local police authorities will render adequate police assistance to the Distribution Company, in the event, the Distribution Company applies for the same. Needless to say that, petitioner will pay all costs, charges and expenses for the police protection. It is expected that, the entire exercise is completed within four weeks from date.

W.P.A. 6566 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. Urgent certified Website copy of this order, if applied, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
