The matter is presently pending before the learned Additional District Judge, FTC-II, Uttar Dinajpur at Raiganj.
The petitioner has prayed for transfer of the matter to the Court of learned District Judge at Barasat, District - 24 Parganas North for attending the trial. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has to undertake long journey for attending the trial. Learned counsel for the opposite party has very fairly submitted that for the expeditious disposal of the suit being filed by his client, the Matrimonial Suit
No.324 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, FTC-II, Uttar Dinajpur at Raiganj may be transferred to the Court of learned District Judge at Barasat, District - 24 Parganas North. However, learned counsel submits that an appropriate direction may be given to the petitioner not to take unnecessary adjournments.
In view of the submissions, Matrimonial Suit No.324 of 2022 is withdrawn from the the learned Additional District Judge, FTC-II, Uttar Dinajpur at Raiganj and assigned to the jurisdictional court of learned District Judge at Barasat, District - 24 Parganas North for disposal in accordance with law. Learned Trial Court shall make or endeavour to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 31st December, 2025. The party shall not take unnecessary adjournments Accordingly the petition being CO 749 of 2024 along with connected application stands disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
