(DB) No. 913 of 2023 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Kultali Police Station Case No. 1123 dated 20.02.2021 under Section 376(2)(i) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 6 of the POCSO Act and chargesheet submitted under Sections 376Ab/376(2)(f) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Saha ... for the petitioner Mr. Prasun Kumar Datta, learned APP Mr. Nirupam Dhali ... for the State Heard the learned Counsels for the parties We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim shows she was forcibly ravished by the petitioner. Victim is a minor. In view of gravity of the offence we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
