1. This is an application, inter alia, praying for restoration of the writ application being WPA 4624 of 2020 which has since been dismissed by order dated 25th March 2022.

2. On the previous occasion, when this application was taken up for consideration on 1st September 2023, since the respondents were not represented, the same was adjourned to provide one further opportunity to the respondents to appear and contest.

3. Today, at the time of call, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

4. Heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and considered the materials on record.

5. After going through the statements made in the writ application, I am of the view that the petitioner has been able to explain that he was prevented by sufficient cause from appearing before this Court on 25th March 2022.

6. In view thereof, the order dated 25th March 2022 is recalled and the writ application being WPA 4624 of 2020 is restored to its original file and number.

7. CAN 1 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of.

In re : W.P.A. 4624 of 2020 List this matter in the combined monthly list of November 2023.
