The grievance of the petitioner pertains to failure of the respondent authorities in demarcating the premises of the petitioner.

It is alleged on behalf of the petitioner that notwithstanding having made several representations, the respondent authorities have failed and neglected to take any steps for demarcation of the subject premises. Mr. Mandal appears on behalf of the State respondents and submits that the BL & LRO, Debra being the respondent No.3 is the responsible officer to demarcate the portion of the premises of the petitioner which is under acquisition.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, I direct that the process of demarcation which

has been directed to be carried out by the respondent No.3 be completed within a period of three months from date of communication of this order in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 6580 of 2021 stands disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
