for the Petitioner Mr. Supriyo Chattopadhyay Ms. Iti Dutta ... for the State This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering his representation dated February 9, 2021 with regard to formation of new Managing Committee. Mr. Bari, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs this Court that the Managing Committee expired on 2nd March, 2021.

Mr. Chattopadhyay, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the Government Order dated September 11, bearing No.1071-SE/S/SC-19/17 wherein the term of the Managing Committee is to continue till the new Committee is formed.

I have heard learned Counsel for the appearing parties.

Accordingly, I direct the Joint Secretary, Government of West Bengal, School Education Department, being the

respondent no.2 to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as also other interested parties, if any, and therearfter to pass a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from date. The reasoned order is to be communicated to the parties two weeks thereafter.

With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
