At the juncture when the writ petition is moved alleging police inaction, learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents submits a report (which may be kept on record) which discloses, inter alia, that a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is already sub-judice before a civil court, which has passed an order of injunction as well.

Learned counsel for the writ petitioner pleads ignorance on such fact and seeks some time to take appropriate instructions thereon.

Accordingly, let the matter be enlisted on May 3, 2021 fairly at the top of the list.
