Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police seized the certified copy of the deed as the original was lost. He refers to a general diary which was also seized by the police. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. The allegations are of forgery. The original document which was required to unravel the forgery is claimed to be missing. It is claimed to be missing from the possession of the petitioner. Therefore, the requirement of custodial interrogation of the petitioner cannot be ruled out. Therefore, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 1477 of 2022, is rejected.
