Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits trial is at its fag-end.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the father of the minor victim. She was ravished by him. Minor has supported the prosecution case. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is thus rejected.

Trial court is directed to conduct the trial as expeditiously as possible and conclude the same at an early date preferably within three months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
