Petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Haridevpur Police Station Case No.22 of 2025 being registered for investigation on 10.01.2025 under Sections 498A/406/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, till date there has been no seizures being effected by the police authorities. Police authorities requested the petitioner to approach at the police station.

Accordingly, petitioner came from Dubai but until recently no information was sent to the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted that a search warrant has been issued which has been made returnable by 28th April, 2025.

Accordingly, the Deputy Commissioner-inCharge of Haridevpur Police Station would afford permission to the investigating officer of the case for making necessary arrangements for proceeding to Delhi for effecting search and seizure in connection with Haridevpur Police Station Case No.22 of 2025 dated 10.01.2025.

Petitioner and the investigating officer would reach at a consensus regarding the date for proceeding to Delhi. Accordingly, the petitioner would make herself available for assisting and cooperating with the police authorities in course of search and seizure to be held at Delhi. It is directed that the Deputy Commissioner of Police would ensure that whole of the process be completed by 15th May, 2025. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 5939 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
