Petitioner submits that because of act and activities of the local goons at the behest of political leaders, petitioner was threatened and an attempt was made for grabbing the property which was a part of the factory premises. To that effect, information was furnished with the Officer-in-Charge, Dumdum Police Station. But subsequently situation aggravated and at the behest of respondent no. 4 a part of the property was encroached and the petitioners presently are not being allowed to enter the factory premises.

The Deputy Commissioner, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate in charge of Dumdum Police Station will conduct an enquiry informing the petitioners and in case he finds that the petitioners are unable to enter the factory premises because of resistance made by people associated with any

political party, he would ensure that the petitioners get entry in the factory premises. To that effect, the Deputy Commissioner will render all police assistance and protection to the petitioners.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 5872 of 2023 is disposed of.

The concerned Deputy Commissioner will act on server copy of this order furnished by the petitioners.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
