The writ petitioner claims that despite order of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Bardhaman FIR has not been registered and his stolen vehicle has not been recovered.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the vehicle in question has been recovered and is lying in the police station.

After investigation into the matter Khandaghosh Police Station FRMF (Final Report of Mistake of Fact) No.23/21 dated 28th August 2021 has been filed. In the above circumstances, this Court finds no inaction on the part of the Khandaghosh Police. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report of the O.C., Khandaghosh Police Station dated 01.12.2022 is taken on record.
