There exists a dispute between the petitioners and the respondent No.8 with regard to some landed property situated at Arangsarisha Mouza under Chapra Police Station.

When the petitioner No.1 accompanied by a member of the gram panchayat, went to Chapra Police Station to file a complaint against the respondent No.8, the information was entered in the form of a general diary on April 7, 2022. A Sub-Inspector was assigned the duty to make an enquiry about the allegations of threat and intimidation. Upon an enquiry, it was detected that the dispute was over a land and the respondent No.8 had created some disturbance. Prosecution under Sections

107/116 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was submitted against the respondent No.8. The police report is taken on record.

The police authorities are directed to take all possible steps, in order to ensure that no breach of peace takes place. Law and order should be maintained and a sharp vigil must be kept over the land in question. The right, title and interest of the parties, have not been decided.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
