By an order dated April 13, 2021, the petitioners were directed to surrender before the Jurisdictional Court within a period of four weeks. They were also directed to meet the Investigating Officer once a week on and from 20.04.2021. The petitioners say that soon after this order, the second wave of COVID-19 came in and life got disrupted. They were unable to surrender before the Jurisdictional Court. However, they have been meeting the Investigating Officer once every week. They pray for extension of time to surrender before the Jurisdictional Court.

Having heard learned Advocates for the parties, we extend the time for the petitioners to surrender before the Jurisdictional Court by a week from date.
