10 liters of codeine mixture (much above commercial quantity) was recovered from the exclusive possession of the petitioner. In view of the restriction in Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail.

CRM 2410 of 2021 is dismissed.

However, the petitioner says that he is in custody for three years and sixty days.

The State says that charge sheet and supplementary charge sheet have been filed.

Considering the protracted detention of the petitioner, we request the learned Trial Court to make all efforts to expedite the trial to the extent possible and bring the same to its logical conclusion as early as possible and preferably, within a period of one year from date.
