Despite service of notice, School is not represented. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

The petitioner joined as a Headmaster of Raghunathbari Ramtarak High School, Tamluk, District - Purba Medinipur from Nagripada S.C. High School, District - Jhargram in terms of the recommendation of the School Service Commission dated 8th June, 2017. He joined the school immediately thereafter. The School, however, transferred the accumulated GPF amount of Rs.6,25,949/- only on 24th September, 2020. The interest for six months has been allowed by the Office of the concerned District Inspector of Schools and aid by the Treasurer.

Since the delay of three years i.e. 36 months cannot be attributable to the petitioner, the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE), shall credit interest

for the entire period of 36 months less the interest already credited to him. The District Inspector of Schools (SE), shall thereafter recover the said interest paid to the petitioner from the School concerned after identifying and fixing the responsibility for the delay within a period of two months from date.

Let interest to be paid on the petitioner's account within a period of one month from date. With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petitioner shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
