1. This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of P.P. Appeal No.9 of 2015 (R-06 of 2015) pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 9th Court at Alipore.

2. Mr. Nag, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner invites the attention of this Court to an order dated March 5, 2025 passed in CO 771 of 2025 wherein the observations made by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of S.D. Bandi v. Divisional Traffic Officer, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation & Ors., reported at (2013) 12 SCC 631 where taken note of and the learned Appellate Court was requested to adhere to the guidelines framed by the Supreme Court in the aforesaid decision and dispose of the pending interlocutory application first and thereafter the P.P. Appeal No.9 of 2015 (R-06 of 2015) without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

3. It is submitted by Mr. Nag that despite the aforesaid

direction, the appeal as well as the interlocutory applications still remain pending.

4. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, prior service of notice of the revisional application along with a notice is not being directed, however, the petitioner shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date.

5. It is noticed that more than one year has passed since the order dated March 5, 2025 was passed by this Court while disposing of CO 771 of 2025. The said order dated March 5, 2025 specifically referred to the guidelines framed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court as regards disposal of appeals filed under the Public Premises Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants Act, 1971.

In such view of the matter, the learned Additional District Judge, 9th Court at Alipore is requested to take note of the aforesaid legal situation and pay due respect to the order dated March 5, 2025 so as to ensure that the petitioner does not have to travel to this Court once again seeking expeditious disposal of the appeal being P.P. Appeal No.9 of 2015 (R-06 of 2015) as well as the interlocutory application pending before the said Court.

7. CO 870 of 2026 stands disposed of with the above observations. No Costs.
