The petitioner claims that in his land, the private respondents have forcefully constructed a submersible pump.

To that effect, an information was furnished with the police authorities.

However, the police authorities did not take any steps.

State has submitted a report prepared by the BL&LRO, wherein the BL&LRO observed that pursuant to the

order dated 24.01.2024 passed by the WBLR&TT wherein the representation of the present petitioner was rejected, I am of the view that the police authorities have no authority to interfere in such circumstances.

Prima facie, it reflects that dispute is there between the petitioner and the private respondents.

Accordingly, the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place as also no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 6196 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to learned advocate for the petitioner.
