1. Parties are represented through their respective learned counsels.

2. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

3. With consent finally heard.

4. During the course of hearing learned counsel for the parties agreed that this petition may be disposed of by directing the concerned District Magistrate and Collector, South 24 Parganas to take a final decision in terms of memo no.4949 /ZP / PUBLIC GRIEVANCE/ 2O25 dated 11.09.2025.

5. This is the second visit of the petitioner to this Court. In previous round in the writ petition, being WPA(P) 259 of 2025, decided on 29th July, 2025 (Annexure P3) this Court directed the learned District Magistrate to take a decision in accordance with law. In obedience thereof the learned District Magistrate by the said communication dated 11.09.2025 directed the Sub-Divisional Officer to prepare a report within 10 days. In furtherance thereof, the SubDivisional Officer formed a committee of three persons. Thereafter, hearing had taken place on 12.09.2025. As per the learned Counsel for the petitioner no outcome is informed till date. Parties agreed that this matter may be disposed of by directing the District Magistrate to pass a final order (if not already passed) within 15 days from the date of communication of this order.

6. In view of consensus arrived at this petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas to ensure that final order is passed pursuant to his aforesaid notice within 60 working days from the date of communication of the server copy of this order (if not already passed). The outcome shall be communicated to the parties.

7. It is made clear that while disposing of this petition, this Court has not expressed any opinion on merit.
