The petitioners seek a direction upon the Biddhannagar Municipal Corporation for consideration of the representation filed in November 2022. Without entering into the merit of the claim of the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Biddhannagar Municipal Corporation to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioners on 1st December, 2022 in accordance with law after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties and pass a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from the date of

communication of this order and communicate the same to the petitioners immediately thereafter. If the Corporation is of the opinion that the petitioners will be entitled to any payment, the same shall be released in favour of the petitioners within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

If the Corporation is of the opinion that the petitioners will not be entitled to relief as claimed for, reasons for the same shall be intimated to the petitioners.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
