The petitioner alleges that the horizontal reservation available to the petitioner in the recruitment process under advertisement no.

WBPRB/Notice - 2021/21 (SI_KP-21) has not been granted to the petitioner or for that matter in the said recruitment process. The recruitment process is admittedly for appointment of Sub-Inspector, both male and female (Unarmed Branch) and Sergeant in Kolkata Police. The examination for the said recruitment process was scheduled to be held on 27th March, 2022. The recruitment process is admittedly with regard to government employment under the State Government.

In view of the provisions of Section 15 read with Section 28 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985,

this Court lacks jurisdiction to receive, entertain, try and determine the instant writ petition.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh on the self-same cause, if permissible in law before the appropriate forum. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
