Pattanayak ... for the respondent no.1 Learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for a stay on the operation of the order dated 28.02.2025 passed by the Ld. West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission in Case No.OA-504/24-25, until the appeal challenging the impugned order passed in Case No.OA504/24-25 is taken up by Ld. APTEL Tribunal upon its reopening on the 17th of March, 2025.

Learned counsel appearing for the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited further submits that the petitioner shall also not grant any additional connectivity to the respondent no.2 till 17th of March, 2025 i.e. till the reopening of Ld. APTEL Tribunal on 17th of March, 2025.

Learned Senior counsel appearing for the respondent no.2 agrees with the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner but prays for a direction that no existing connectivity should be disturbed by the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Let there be a stay on the operation of the order dated 28.02.2025 passed by the Ld. West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission till 17th of March, 2025, when the Ld. APTEL Tribunal reopens and the appeal challenging the impugned order in Case No.OA-504/24-25 is mentioned before the Tribunal by the petitioner.

No additional connectivity shall be provided by the petitioner to respondent no.2 till 17th of March, 2025. However, the petitioner shall also not disturb the existing connectivity of the respondent no.2.

With the above observations, the writ petition being WPA 5757 of 2025 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
